I will never forget that awful day
that my breath was suddenly taken away.

When someone said that you had died
I though it all was just a big lie.

I never thought you would leave me
and go to where you would spend eternity.

Now you're gone. I'll have to fight depression.
God was just trying to teach me a lesson.

Life is just to short to waste.
So, of death, he gave me a taste.

I will be here until my time arrives.
To be with you for the rest of our lives.
